Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations across a portfolio of hospitality properties and business entities. This position will oversee the consolidated month-end close process, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and manage a small team of accounting professionals.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader with experience in multi-entity environments who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented hospitality organization.

Compensation range: $100-110k plus discretionary bonus

What You'll Do

Lead the Month-End Close Process

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities and properties
  • Oversee preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting
  • Review financial results and investigate variances to budget and prior periods
  • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team
  • Delegate responsibilities, manage workload priorities, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback

Financial Management & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Support external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and improve accounting workflows
  • Enhance reporting processes and financial visibility across the organization
  • Assist with integrations, acquisitions, and other growth-related initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience managing accounting for multiple entities, business units, or locations
  • Strong understanding of month-end close and financial statement preparation
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting/ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation
  • Hospitality, hotel, resort, restaurant, or multi-unit experience
  • Experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting
  • Knowledge of hospitality accounting systems and property management platforms
